Defense" Prayer
Dear Lord...
You have endowed the Earth with abundant blessings.
Its Land, Its Water It's Beauty, are among its possessions,
especially Dear Lord, It's people, who, by their own
volition,
call themselves 'Volunteers," by their own admission.
They perform many dangerous task's Dear Lord,
simply because they are asked.
Protect them, Dear Lord, from all injuries and harm
as you do when things seem so calm.
Yes, watch over these "Volunteers", Lord,
as they are called upon to do each task.
In asking you this favor, Dear Lord,
We trust its not too much to ask.
