The Newburyport Office of Emergency
Management has just learned of the passing of Ralph York, a
long time dedicated volunteer and Sr. communication officer
for our Emergency Management organization. Ralph’s managed
our Ham radio equipment and was senior manager or our
communications/ radio dispatch division. In times of bad
storms and hazardous weather, it was not uncommon to see
Ralph make his way into the operations center due to his
love of public safety and desire to help our community.
Ralph has made considerable contributions to improving our
organization. Ralph will be greatly missed.
Ralph, Our hearts go out to you and your
family. We wish you peace. You will be in our hearts and
prayers. God bless .

(Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency) for a one day course with
certification on Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)
Class offered to
Public Safety and Emergency Management Officials on Friday December 14, 2007 at
the Newburyport Emergency Management Agency.
Emergency Managers or Public Safety
officials wishing to take this training must
pre-register.
